What does climate change mean for the San Joaquin region?
As part of the public outreach for the SJCOG Regional Resiliency Implementation Plan and Adaptation Guidance report. 20% of people said they would like to see educational opportunities for community members to learn about climate change and sustainability. SJCOG has since developed an educational booklet about climate change in the San Joaquin region, which defines climate change terminology, explains the projections for San Joaquin county, and lists actions an individual can take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for climate change. The booklet is available in both English and Spanish and can be viewed online or printed.
